Bourbon County (Kentucky) officials were called to a farm where 38 horses and 2 foals had been left to die of starvation and dehydration. Many of them were injured. Some near death. As word spread, people and organizations from across the bluegrass rallied to save the abandoned horses. This is the story of one of those horses.

They didn’t know if they could save her. They only knew that they had to try. Thankfully, Jo Jo found someone to live for. Little Kaylee and Jo Jo had formed an amazing bond.
