I definitely don’t think they should’ve done this for several reasons.
    1. The horse and rider’s safety is clearly at risk; probably even the passersby were as well.
    2. They were on grass and could’ve easily slipped worse than the few that did in the video.
    3. The horses’ back legs were hitting the top 3-4 poles every time probably causing some sort of damage, or at least soreness.
    4. The riders didn’t seem to know what they hell they were doing; just flailing their bodies over the fence and hoping for the best.
    5. The jumps were shitty and could’ve easily splintered or snapped and caused injury to anybody within say 8 feet.
    6. Since they’re obviously not going to care what anybody tells them about how dangerous it is, they should at the very least be competing in a proper arena where the horse can’t run people and other things over if they get loose.

I understand this video is quite old, but the lack of safety precaution and common sense just blows my mind. Not to mention the stupidity and the fact that a few of these horses didn’t at all seem even remotely ready for jumps this high. From the looks of it the riders were just runnig them to the fence and kicking the crap out of their horses so they would attempt the jump, failing to ask them to do it correctly.
    Okay, my rant is over.
