If Your Horse Is Going To Refuse A Jump….This Is The Way To Do It

This horse wasn’t quite sure of the jump in front of him and like many horses have done at one time or another, he got right up to it and planted his feet in the ground. The dreaded refusal! The rider landed on top of the jump with his foot caught in the stirrup.
It was a potentially dangerous situation, but amazingly the horse and rider both stayed quiet. The horse didn’t run away, he just stood there patiently waiting for his rider to remove his foot out of the stirrup. They walked off together the same way they entered the arena, as partners.
