Horrible Rider Repeatedly Whips Horse – This Is Not Right!

A video was recently posted to Facebook that caused almost immediate outrage.  A horse is being ridden in draw reins while a man repeatedly hits the horse with a crop…over and over.  It’s hard to tell what the man is even trying to accomplish.  Others ride around the arena as if nothing is going on.  At one point the man appears to have lost control of his horse, so another rider has to stop as a safety precaution, but at no point does anyone say anything to him.

I’ve watched this video a few times now and I still can’t figure out what the rider was trying to accomplish.  If I was the arena while this was going on, there’s no way I would be able to be quiet about it.

I think Melissa in the comments said it best, ” I think the moron is using the whip as a beating tool, rather than an aid to get the horse to move forward. Otherwise why else would this moron hold so tightly onto the reins?  This dimwit needs to get off this horse and give the poor things some slack.”
