Don’t mess with a MARE and her BABY!

Mare’s are programmed to protect their foals and sometimes that doesn’t work out so well for the handlers.  When I was a kid we had a mare foal and I remember being so excited to see the foal for the first time.  The mare didn’t share my enthusiasm.  It was a great lesson for me.  We had only had the mare a few weeks and she didn’t trust us.  I don’t blame her! Watch this mama protect her baby.
