I wish all horse shows associations would do something special like this…

The connection with a horse is something I wish everyone could experience at least one time.  Walters Equestrian Center Posted the following message on their Facebook page about the NRHA Derby.  It was so touching we had to share it here.  “So, this happened at the 2018 NRHA Derby….this was Brett’s (Walters) brainchild, he wanted the NRHA to give back to the Oklahoma City community and what better way than to reach out to a special group of kids. He couldn’t have done it without the great staff in the NRHA office and other NRHA members that donated time, effort and the use of some of their amazing horses to give these kids a day they will never forget!NRHA – National Reining Horse Association.”

Watching those kids faces light up made me smile and cry at the same time.  Experiences like this are things children remember and cherish forever.  I’m so happy that they were able to give these children such an amazing day.  Share this on Facebook if you are too!
