Watch Protective Air Vests In Action…Should More Disciplines Be Using them?
German rider Niklas Bschorer sets off his protective air-vest while battling to stay on his horse at the Badminton Horse Trials. The air-vest is similar to an airbag in a car. If the rider falls it will inflate and help protect against injury. I know many cross country riders swear by them and they even make a kids version.
