Zips Chocolate Chip Passes Away At Age 30

Zips Chocolate Chip, born on Cinco Da Mayo, May 5, 1985, gone from us Sept 3, 2015.  Zips Chocolate Chip left his hoof prints all over the quarter horse industry.  He was one of those special horses that touched so many lives.   Zips Chocolate Chip was a legend that made an impact across multiple breeds and disciplines. Zips Chocolate Chip was so amazing that he’s one of the few pleasure horses that have been immortalized by a Breyer model. He was the first horse to be inducted into the NSBA Hall Of Fame in two divisions. He has left a huge legacy in his offspring, great-offspring and even further back than that. Not many horses leave their mark on an industry the way Zips Chocolate Chip did.  I personally am so grateful to have had the chance to ride some of his offspring and they were amazing.  We send our deepest condolences to Ann Meyers (his owner) and everyone who’s lives were touched by him.
