Western Pleasure: What The Judges Are Looking For

If you’re currently showing western pleasure or planning to do so in the future, having a good understanding of the rules is a great place to start. Sometimes you will see a horse being rewarded who’s head is too low or doesn’t go according to the rule book. It’s important to remember that judges can only evaluate the riders in front of them. If all the horses are going this way, they still have to place and judge the class.
