I’ve seen so many horses who were so lame they couldn’t put any pressure on their foot, they were essentially 3 legged and their owners were panicked. Thankfully a lot of times they’ve turned out to be a hoof abscesses. Obviously this isn’t always the case and I always suggest having your veterinarian evaluate any soundness or health issues with your horse before making assumptions.
